At least they're consistent

Ah another day, another glorious adventure on the T. I realized two things this weekend. One the commute from Lynn to Boston is a hundred times better than the commute from Chestnut Hill to Boston. Two, the commute from Chestnut Hill still sucks ass. (^-^) This morning however it was somewhat humorous, but still sucked.

So the trains on the green line have two compartments with a flex point in the middle. I enter the train from the front and head past the flex point into the second compartment because there seemed to be more room back there. Upon entering the second compartment I then realize why...the AC was only working in half of the train. On one side you have ice cold, on the other you have an oven. Other people realized this too, so by the time I get to my destination half of the train is packed to capacity and the other is near empty.

I capitalized on the situation by standing in the flex point. There I had the best of both worlds with the plus of all the extra room on one side. Space is a precious commodity on the T in the morning. So I arrive at Arlington Station to realize that the station itself was cooler than the hot section of the train I was on. That's surprising just because that station is always hot as hell.
The MBTA reinstated the 130 buses that they pulled last week because of two crashes that indicated there may be a defect in the new model of buses. The MBTA states that service should be returning to normal. I'm sure that noone noticed that the MBTA sucking more than it usually does with the buses gone.
